No one ever sees Haiti in the news and what is going on here. The world really doesn’t care about Haiti or its people. I just heard there is a fire at the airport. I cannot confirm it yet.

Roadblocks, manifestations burning, rock-throwing, and shootings… No law and order. Our Haitian friends are not doing this. It’s the young thugs and those who want to take over Haiti, the opposition. When you have no jobs (85% unemployment), no money, no electricity, no running water, no hope for the future… These things happen. The poor suffer, especially the children. The city is shut down. Almost nothing is open. Haiti is in chaos, political and economic turmoil.

Please pray! Haitian Customs has been closed for days. We cannot get any of our food out of Customs until it opens. This is an emergency. Many of you who were coming in on Saturday to pick up your food from our Kingdom Connection Food Distribution Center, please don’t come until further notice. I am so sorry.

Those of you who can help us financially to bring in more food, please help. Haiti is in a food crisis. Any food we can find here, we will buy to help the people. The price of food has soared out of sight.
