Rodna Joseph is now 11 years old and in 6th grade!

Her nickname from the kids is “Rod!” She loves science and social studies… and she still loves dolls!

The main thing you need to know about her is that “She loves to cook spaghetti.” The only thing she loves more is “eating it!”

Rodna’s mother died when Rodna was young. Her father had to “borrow” money for her mother’s funeral. When he could not pay, the man he borrowed money from kidnapped all the rest of the children and took them for ransom. Sadly enough the kidnapper did not return the children. Rodna was by herself… Her father became so depressed and could not work. Rodna began suffering from malnutrition. So, he brought her to our orphanage (Children’s Home). Rodna soon adapted to love!

Rodna loves to work, sweat, and iron anything. She helps take care of Zachary and Zoey. When we see her smiling, we realize that she could have been kidnapped, or killed. Rodna’s dream is to become a nurse. She loves to sing and lead the singing in Children’s Church! She loves praise dances, and she loves the Lord… and we love her!!!
