Samuel is in the 8th grade. For a young, teenaged boy, he is so sweet, kind, gentle, and hardworking. He will do “any kind of work” and does a great job! I remember the day that his father carried him as a little baby in his arms… Samuel’s mother had died, leaving his father with six children to raise. He could not raise a newborn baby. With tears in his eyes, he placed Samuel in my arms. It was a tough decision for his father, but he knew it was best for the baby. Samuel has a great talent as an artist. Look at the picture of the “Husky” dog he drew and gave to David George as a gift! Haitian children have “so much natural talent,” but it is heartbreaking for many who will never reach their full potential. Our Love A Child children are blessed because we have taught them that “you can be or do anything” as long as you have the Lord in your life! Sherry
