Nelson…

It was a hot summer day when a team had come in, from Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). The Director and CEO, of FMSC, Mark Crea, was walking through the village of Old Letant, with Bobby. I saw this little boy sitting on his knees, on the ground, naked, in the hot sun. His mother and father thought he could not walk because of Voodoo. But it wasn’t Voodoo that was the problem, it was severe malnutrition.

We brought Nelson to our orphanage that day and began to feed him, care for him, and love him. In no time at all, he was standing, walking, and running! He makes “very good grades” in school! He is “as smart as a whip,” and can run as fast as a deer! He does flips and cartwheels!! Thank you, partners, for all your love and support for these children! We love Nelson, and we love all the children!
