He’s in the 5th grade and a very smart young man! His name is Stephano. His father abandoned him when he was born. His mother was in prison and had been released but could not take care of her son due to mental problems. Stephano’s father must have been Dominican because he is very light skinned. The Department of Social Services brought him to us, and we were glad to take him into our family.

Stephano is “very, very intelligent.” He also loves to work, and he works hard!! Well, he has been working “very hard” because he has been waiting for Christmas! Stephano is always happy and cheerful. He loves soccer and basketball! He is always “a step ahead” of everyone else!!! I wonder what he will be when he grows up… One thing about Stephano, we have never seen him “without a smile!”
