She’s sweet and curious and ten years old. This is Betina.

She’s in third grade and down-to-earth. She was brought to us after the earthquake, by the Department of Social Services. We were told her parents were killed or missing. Betina is very loving. She wants to be a nurse. She loves to dance and sing! Almost all Haitians are very artistic… they can paint, sing, dance, and create!!

Betina loves to clean her room. She tells jokes! Here she is, helping to put the clean clothes where they need to go. She also wants to be a teacher!
