We first found Jameson when his mom brought him across the lake, from a mud hut to our Jesus Healing Center. He had impetigo and a bad infection in his eyes. It was so bad that the poor little fellow could not even open his eyes! He just cried constantly. We also found out that his mother lived in a village with very few trees, so the dust was flowing constantly and making his skin and eyes hurt so much more.
We took him into our orphanage and he must make trips to the dermatologist in Port-au-Prince, every month. This skin infection comes and goes. When it “comes,” he is sent to our clinic where the nurses have to scrub him and he cries and cries.
Jameson loves to sing! He also loves school and works really hard to get good grades! Jameson loves to work! He will do any kind of work and even when he is sick, he is trying to work. When he smiles, he “looks like an angel!”
There are many doctors who have diagnosed Jameson with several types of things. One has said “herpes,” and one, “impetigo,” and another something else. We will just keep trying to get him to the best doctor to find out how we can help him more. We all love Jameson. He is a little doll! He is so sweet, and he tries to smile, even when he is in pain, with his infection. But, we all have faith in God and that the Lord will touch this little guy… Jameson! We love him so much!
