Everyone was so thankful!
I had sent you a post earlier. Everyone was so thankful this morning for their food. I wanted to send you some more pictures. It’s a joy to share with others! A little over half of those who came today have orphan homes who really need the food. Some come far away as northwest Haiti. They come from all over.
We had so many more people to come than I thought because of the Papaya Gang and the trouble on the road, maybe in other areas like Port au Prince. Thank you Feed My Starving Children for donating the food called manna packs. Yum! Thank all of you who help make it possible financially for Love A Child to transport the containers each month down to Haiti, customs and the distribution center. Thank you Joyce Meyer Ministries — Hand of Hope, Jentezen Franklin (Kingdom Connection), David and Casey who give $10,000 each month for three of the containers to be shipped. Thank you to all of you who help make up the money for the other 5 containers each month and for the widow’s mite. Every penny counts! Thank you, Jentezen Franklin, for the money to build the Kingdom Connection Food Distribution Center.
Several of our girls helped serve our guests who came for food. We serve them a homemade cake, snacks, drinks, and special treats. Thank you, girls! Many of our boys helped load the trucks with food. We are thankful to all the warehouse workers and the many other hard-working Haitian workers. Thank you, Jessica and Daniel. I just wanted to show you, it takes a team working together to get the job done.
Love is something you do! Bobby Burnette
P.S. Sherry is still under the weather but getting better.
