Just look at these new “Christmas gifts” that just came in… maybe we could say, “They are early New Year’s gifts!” What adorable babies, and just look at these moms!! These Birthing Kits, blankets, etc., were donated by our friend, Rosalind!

We try to keep extra Birthing Kits on hand because “we never know” how many babies will be “headed our way!” Our wonderful Birthing Center has a “Woman’s Wellness Teaching Center,” that pregnant moms have to attend. We teach them about their own health, birth control, etc. We have already made an impact on many mothers that otherwise would probably have a child each year!

It is a “very fragile” subject to teach these mothers because the majority are Catholic. They do not believe in “family planning,” but we are slowly teaching them that “if a mother dies,” she leaves behind children and a father who will find it “extremely difficult” to care for all those children.

We really love these Haitian mothers and want to give them the best of care! We are one of the “very few” Birthing Centers that provide birth certificates for their babies!
