Every day in our Jesus Healing Center we see things “much sadder” than the day before. This is Madamn Marie. She is from Croix des Bouquet. She has three children and all of her life she has supported them by selling items on the street. Now, she has come to our clinic, and our doctor says that she has “cancer behind her eye.”
You may remember, “Djonsly,” the young boy who came to our clinic with his eyeball hanging out of the socket. He also had cancer and had to have surgery and a lot of treatment. But it is more difficult to get an adult to the States.
Djonsly has another appointment for his visa to come back, but we will have to send Madamn Marie on to another hospital. Our doctor will tell us what to do today…
The poor find comfort and faith at our Jesus Healing Center. We have the best doctors and nurses, and they love their work. We have a Haitian Pastor who prays for every patient.
But we have outgrown our Jesus Healing Center and we are using “every small place,” even the patio of the Dental Clinic. We have too many patients and not enough room. That’s why we are building the new Jesus Healing Center. It will be more than twice the size of the old one so that we can help more people. Thank you, Partners, for what you have already done and thank you for what you are about to do… “Go the second mile in your giving.”
If you would like to be part of this lifesaving, compassionate outreach to the people and children of Haiti, please call our office at 239-210-6107 and ask to speak with Rad. God bless you!
We also wish to thank Joyce Meyer Ministries — Hand of Hope for their “monthly support for the operating cost of the Jesus Healing Center.” This is why we can provide free care for the poor. Patients can give a little gift towards the “Benevolent Fund,” which helps pay for transportation to hospitals, surgeries, and for taking care of families. It is all a wonderful plan, but it wouldn’t be possible without the help from Hand of Hope!
God bless you, Partners!! We are “moving forward” with the new Jesus Healing Center, by faith! Sherry
