“The Touch of a Good Samaritan”

“The Touch of a Good Samaritan”

Every day, people come to our Jesus Healing Center with great needs… many are “life-threatening.” Each one has a different story, but in many ways, their problems are the same… their extreme poverty plunges them into hunger, illness, and distress. Many times, stress is the main cause of their illness.

Often, we receive patients at the clinic for cases that at first were minor and could be easily resolved but turned into a real disaster, sometimes fatal, for lack of appropriate care from the start.

Haitian hospitals face many different problems, including the fact that many health workers leave their jobs to go to other countries. Haitians will fight at all costs to leave the country to find a better life; because with gangs, no one can live happily, everyone lives in absolute fear and despair, and the police cannot ensure the safety of the population.

Today we received a patient named Zilmé Kencia, who was shot in the foot during a shooting after a fight. She was in a lot of pain, and after the care she received at the clinic, we transferred her to a hospital center where they could remove the projectile. The lifespan of a Haitian is no longer than a few hours, given the circumstances.

We thank the Lord Jesus and our supporters for their help. We also thank the medical staff, doctors, and nurses for their compassion. We want to thank you, our partners, for always responding to the needs of the poor, and of course, Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope for their monthly support and all their help in making this amazing, first-class “Jesus Healing Center,” an outreach to the poor in Haiti!

Thank you so much.

Bobby and Sherry
