Train Up a Child in the Way He Should Go…

This is Barry Limose. He’s one of the first four children that we took in, who were all from the Limose family. They had grown up in a mud hut in a poor village in Lester, Haiti. Their father had died, and on her death bed their mother pulled me down close to her and asked her last wish, “Will you take care of my children when I die?”

“Yes, of course,” I said. Then I prayed, “God, please don’t let her die,” but she died soon after. Two of his sisters had severe malnutrition. We knew they would die if we did not bring them in… We brought Barry and his three sisters home, and that’s how we started our Love A Child Children’s Home.

Today, Barry works for us in our Food Distribution Center. He organizes all the food distributions, makes sure we have local security, drivers, etc. He does a great job and we are so proud of him! We pray that all of our Haitian children will grow up working for Love A Child, protecting Love A Child, and serving God.
