“Baby John Doe,” who was left outside our gate in the weeds yesterday, was sent to the Social Services Department today, as we were required to do. They sent him to L’hopital de Nos Petits Freres et Soeurs, but there was no room. So the sick baby was returned to us, as requested by the Social Services Department, and we were told to “take care of him and get him back to health” because they already have a home for him! Thus far, as soon as he gets better, they will want to send him to a home, (probably someone who wants to adopt a small baby). In the same trip, the Social Services Department sent us a new little boy, Samuel. He’s afraid of white people, I just found out, but he is so cute! God bless you from Haiti. Sherry
