UPDATE CRISIS IN HAITI

UPDATE CRISIS IN HAITI: 2-14-19 12:30 PM

UPDATE CRISIS IN HAITI: Hundreds of thousands are marching, protesting and singing “Président Jovenel Moïse must resign!” We are all still paralyzed… schools and businesses are closed, there are shootings, buildings burning, roadblocks with burning tires, and people throwing rocks and putting oil on the roads.

I can’t confirm, but according to what we are hearing 90% of the missionaries here have left, or are in the process of leaving Haiti. The age group doing all these things is between 16 and 25 years old. This is a well-financed coup to take over the government. Where are all the guns, bullets and AK-47’s coming from? The young people are beyond being frustrated. They are being lied to, have no jobs, no money, no running water, most places no electricity, and are being stepped on every day. They are tired of being oppressed and looked down upon. What they are doing is wrong, and they could be good, outstanding citizens being very productive if they had the chance. The greedy in power are taking advantage of their frustration.

Final Note: Haiti has widespread hunger as I’ve never seen before! A lady told me yesterday that if you can find rice, the price has doubled!!! Because of the devaluation of the Haitian gourde, all food prices have skyrocketed!! Please… we need your help financially more than ever before to help the Haitian people, especially the children. Please pray for all the people of Haiti and Président Jovenel Moïse. Let’s stand together… we are staying here in Haiti to stand with and help the people survive. Bobby
