Yesterday, the Love A Child team in Anse-à-Veau fed all the starving prisoners pumpkin soup with meat, celebrating Haiti’s Independence Day! Haitians love to eat pumpkin soup on the first day of each year. This is a tradition for the Haitian people. Thank you, Hubert, your wife, and the Love A Child team for going to the prison and cooking this delicious soup. Thank you to our partners who helped financially purchase many meals for the families in south Haiti. We will be distributing more food in many communities and villages in south Haiti for the next four weeks. Love is something you do!

Note: We had no pumpkin soup at our Love A Child Children’s Home. We are all waiting for our four children and 10 employees to return.
