Update from Haiti

We were supposed to deliver food to three new areas near us today, which are always safe; however, we were warned: “not to go out on the street today.” These three areas are full of poor people, but to get to them we have to go through a bad area. They were already burning tires and blocking the roads early this morning. We will try again soon.

The poor suffer so much here in Haiti… They try to go to work “selling items on the street,” but are always turned back due to the crime. Everyone is waiting for the schools to open and be “safe enough” for their children. We will keep you posted. You won’t find anything about the conditions of Haiti in the news in the United States, or in the papers, but you can go to Google and type in “riots in Haiti” or “roadblocks in Haiti” or “angry mobs in Haiti,” and you will find out the truth about what is going on here. Pray for all of the missionaries. Pray for Haiti. Thank you, Bobby and Sherry
