You may have heard part of this story before, but this is an update…
Madamn Anicia and her husband, Franco, lived in Nan Boulay, not far from here. They had five children altogether… The rest of the children were not in the best of condition, but the one that was suffering the most was baby Nadia.
When her parents realized she was near death, they brought her to our Jesus Healing Center. We have the finest doctors here who take special care of each patient. When this baby arrived, she was crying, but the doctors could barely hear “cry” because she was near death.
She had no strength; her hair was orange; her skin was dry and wrinkled. She could not sit or stand because she was “starving.” She was “closer to Death than Life.” She only weighed 6.3 kg. Her parents simply did not have enough food for all the children, and they usually fed the oldest first, and then on down…
Our doctors at our Jesus Healing Center sent her immediately to our Malnutrition Clinic. With the best of care, she was on a “special formula” of milk and also “Plumpy Nut,” peanut butter. After a while, she began to gain weight.
Despite the insecurity of Haiti, special “around-the-clock” care was vital. But, thanks to the Lord and the worker and the special foods, she is “going home.” Her red hair is black; she is “chunky and happy!” Her skin is beautiful, and you can see how happy she is!
We want to thank Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope for sponsoring the building of the Malnutrition Clinic, with all the furnishings inside! We want to thank all our partners for your prayers, support, and clothing you have sent in.
