Update on Dieuferly. Dieuferly D’or is now 22. We found him while doing a Mobile Clinic in the mountains of Belle Fontaine, Haiti, (nickname, Coven). It had been a long rough ride in four-wheel-drives and then, on mules for many hours to get there. That’s when we found Dieuferly and his family of nine children. He was about three or four, and had horrible clubfeet. At that time, the U.S. Military was in Haiti and offered to do the surgeries but they were not “clubfoot specialists.” Dieuferly suffered so much from the operations. All we were given for pain for Dieuferly, was “Baby Tylenol.” We spent many restless days and nights with him. So, he developed many, many problems over the years, even with other surgeries. Now, his feet hurt him constantly.

We are in the Dominican Republic right now, with Dieuferly, Philemond and Joker (our drivers). We are preparing to meet with doctors tomorrow. This was arranged by our friend, RL, from the Dominican Republic. He has worked so hard to get these appointments. We may have to wait all day to see these doctors, but we will do it. We wish to thank RL, for his hard work, trying to find doctors for Dieuferly. After this doctor, we may need to see another, if they cannot do anything for him. One thing we know for sure, we know Dieuferly will need a specialist, but “God already has a ram in the bush!” Please pray for Dieuferly tomorrow and for divine direction in everything we do!
