Jackson has been tethered to this machine for days, no break, no change of scenery. With the complication from surgery, the doctors are still trying to get his phosphorus, potassium, and urea levels into a more acceptable range.
I am sure Jackson feels stuck. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. The doctor today told us she thinks he will be able to go back to Haiti sometime next week.
Jackson is an amazing kid. His patience, perseverance, and positive outlook should be an example to all of us! In the midst of all of this, Jackson is believing God for his complete healing.
No matter what you are going through, even if you feel stuck, keep praying, keep believing. We serve the God of the impossible.
