Our precious Miliana is now a young lady. She is doing well, but she still has a major skin disease which has been hard to treat. (Some call this the “tree-trunk” skin disease, which means that she has growths coming out all over her arms, hands, and legs.) We found her while in the mud-hut village of Madamn Bauje.

We have taken her to the States twice but her growths come back. We are still working on trying to get her a dermatologist in the Dominican Republic. Miliana does very well in school and has chores to do around the house. Her favorite thing to do in her downtime is to play “tic-tac-toe.” Miliana is an extremely good worker, is in 8th grade, and is very sweet. Please pray with us that we can find the right doctor who will be able to remove these growths so that they “won’t grow back!!!” God bless you.
