We first met Roselyne when we were conducting a Mobile Medical Clinic in the mountains of Lastic, Haiti. Her legs were so crooked that she could hardly walk. We agreed to take her to our orphanage and see if we could find a doctor…but, at that time, there were so many problems in Haiti, and we could never find the right doctor. I am sure Roselyne was praying because God worked a miracle!

As she began to grow, her legs straightened right out! Roselyne has a “calling” to be a doctor! She is staying away from our home; in a place we have for all of our older children who are going to college. They all come home on the weekend, but not Rose. Most of the time, she stays there, studying. When she comes to Love A Child, she volunteers in our clinic. The doctors love her!

She is a devout Christian and prays early each morning!!! This is her first year in medical college at University Lumier. It is a good college in Haiti, but a tough one! Well, when she is finished, we will have another wonderful doctor at our Jesus Healing Center! We are just amazed at how the Lord has “hand-picked” these children and brought them into our lives!

Roselyne has about five more years of college after this one. We will be thrilled the day she graduates!!!!
