This wonderful, young girl is Rebecca Burnette. Our Love A Child Director, Nelio Barthelemy had heard about a little girl in a small village that would be sold into slavery. A man was “trying to buy her” and keep her as a Restavec (slave child) and other things, but God spared her! Nelio returned to the village to find the child, and when he did, he brought her to our Love A Child Children’s Home. She was three-years-old. She has been with us for nine years now. We love this little cutie! She has grown so much since she first arrived into our Love A Child family. She is healthy, active and loves being with her big family and she is always smiling. She loves school and is doing very well. Thank you, partners, for saving another child in Haiti. God has a great plan for her life! Sherry
