PETIT GOÂVE: During the passage of the rain and winds of Melissa through Haiti, especially in the south of the country, many families were victims. In the south of the country, many people died, many houses and vegetable gardens were devastated, and livestock died. In Petit Goâve alone, about 20 people died, and 15 others have not been found at all.

Among those who died, many of them were children. Love A Child is the first organization to arrive on the scene to assess the damage and determine what people need: hygiene kits, clothes, water, tents, food, and eventually, houses. The families who survived lost everything they had. They escaped with only the clothes on their backs. Please pray, we need your help purchasing food immediately for South Haiti. This is an emergency.
