Village After Village…

“Village after village…”

This is one of the villages where we distributed food yesterday…there will be more areas this week. This village is called “Nacou.” We received some containers of Feed My Starving Children food, sponsored by our friends and partners, with small and large gifts. This food distribution began immediately in some very poor villages, not far from us. As you can see, the faces of the mothers “tell the story…”

Their smiles say, “Thank you for helping me feed my children!” The nourishing food we receive from our friends at Feed My Starving Children is specially designed and formulated to have everything in it that an underweight or malnourished child would need. Therefore it is so good for the children of the poor. (If you read all the ingredients of vitamins and minerals on the back of the package, it would amaze you!)

To put it on a ship in Miami and send it to Haiti from the States, each container costs us $10,000. Then, the $$$$$ starts adding up…dock fees, “get me fees,” and so many other fees. Working in a third world country is not easy!

Then, the dangerous part begins…our driver, Casimi, has to get that container out of the dock at Port Au Prince and drive it through “gang-infested” areas to bring it to us at our food distribution center. Incidentally, Pastor Jentezen Franklin and his Kingdom Connection partners built this huge Kingdom Connection Food Distribution Center for us, and they sponsor a container of food each month.

We also thank Joyce Meyer MinistriesHand of Hope and other friends, who may not want their names mentioned, for sponsoring a container of food. But, it takes everyone, especially the widow’s mite, to make up the difference. We just love each and every one of you with all our hearts!

Thank you for “blessing the poor!” Psalms 41:1-3
