Farmer John’s Butcher Shop is part of our Love A Child sustainability project inside Gwo Maché Mirak.
Farmer John posted today that in Haiti “all the roads are blocked and most businesses are closed. In Port-au-Prince, many businesses are getting looted and burned. Here, in Fond Parisien, we are operating business as usual. Today, these men brought their livestock to sell… these farmers thanked us for being able to buy their animals, so they could finish paying school fees for their kids and buy food for their families.”
Farmer John’s new butcher shop is doubling its size, and construction has not stopped one day. “We still have some God size dreams for the country of Haiti even through all this turmoil!! The economy is collapsing, but God has a different plan for Farmer Johns Abatwa! The community is so thankful for Farmer Johns.
