Hallelujah! We just got a picture of baby Zoey “praising the Lord!” And, she wasn’t even crying! This is the first time that we have actually seen her happy!! Many of you follow the Love A Child children’s stories and know Zoey. But for those who don’t know her, she was found en route to “New Letant,” left on the road where Kaeli could find her. (Kaeli is now back in the States enrolled in college.) We sent the baby to the Department of Social Services, but since she was found by “our people,” they insisted that we take her.

Shortly after we had brought her in, we fed her and sent her to our clinic for a check-up. We then gave her the best “room mothers” that she could possibly have, and then she went on a crying spree. This has lasted a year. I sent her to our clinic thinking that she had a stomach problem… Not the case. We changed her formula and even added cereal to her milk, thinking she was hungry. I have even put her in bed and left her to cry herself to sleep. After that, we sent her to a hospital to have her checked out. We aren’t sure what it is, but one thing I am thankful for is that our room is at the end of the hall!! Maybe she will grow out of it, but she has been crying since she was born. This is the first picture of her actually “happy!” So, “let’s just praise the Lord!” Sherry
