Widlene and her sister, Esther, were brought to us by their mother, Madamn Jesula. Their father had died and Madamn Jesula was so sick, she thought she would die. She wanted us to take care of her children when she died. I told her, “Your name is Jesula. It means ‘Jesus is here,’ and if Jesus is here, you won’t die.” We put her mother in a hospital and cared for her and brought her and her children to our orphanage. We gave her mother a job and put her children through school.

Now Widlene is about to finish her first year of college. She is studying “Administration.” She “loves to cook!” She is always trying new recipes out on the orphanage children!! I told her, “You will be a good cook because you love to eat!” Ha!” Widlene is precious! She loves the Lord and we love her!
