“Praise Him On Credit…”
Joshua 6:1 – “Now Jericho was straightly shut up because of the children of Israel…” The city of Jericho had built an impregnable and impenetrable wall that was over 11 feet high, 14 feet wide and that was only the first layer. Bible scholars said there was another smooth wall that was angled up 35 degrees running to a height of 35 feet and on top of that, another wall. How could they conquer that? There may be a “wall” in your life today that you cannot climb, but God has a plan. He told the Israelites to walk around the wall for six days and on the seventh day, blow the trumpets and praise God and the “walls will fall flat.” He was telling them to “praise me on credit and I will do it later.” “Praise me now, and I will do it later.” “Praise me by faith, and I will do it when it needs to be done.” Today, if there is a “wall in your life,” what you have to do is “praise God on credit.” Praise Him ahead of time, because God loves faith!
