“Do You Have Eagle Wings or Chicken Feathers?”

Eagles love a storm. When all of the other birds are frightened, eagles see storms as something that help them soar. The storm’s air currents lift them high above the clouds. They also depend on these currents to carry them when they get tired. Once they are soaring, they can see things more clearly.

In the same way, eagles rely on the air currents; depending on God gives you the lift you need to be strong. The clarity and wisdom learned from hard times help you weather the next storm, which may be bigger than the last. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 — Use the eagle wings God gave you to rise above the storms of life. Throw away those chicken feathers! Bobby
