“God’s Ways Are Perfect…” Part One
The book of Ruth is a short “love story,” and the story of God’s perfect ways and His perfect timing. Ruth is the daughter-in-law of Naomi. Naomi’s husband dies, and also her two sons; one of her sons was married to Ruth, the Moabite. So Naomi tells her two daughters-in-law that they need to get on with their lives and marry someone else and raise up children. Orpah leaves her mother-in-law, but Ruth clings to her. Ruth decides to live or die with her mother-in-law, and they go to Bethlehem. They have no money, and the men in their family are all dead. They are in a mess! But, “They came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.” The perfect timing of God! Today, please rest assured that “you are in God’s timing.” It is not “your time,” but it is “God’s time.” Those things you have been praying about will come to pass!
