Was the Lord in the rat shack?

When I found the shack, with a lot of the windows broken out, I knew it was where I would fast and pray for 21 days and night on water. I was cold, broke, and the rats were trying to crawl into bed with me. I stayed right there, never leaving, but praying and fasting. Sherry would come once a day to check on me. I read a book named, “Atomic Power with God.” It said, “After three days, your hunger would begin to leave.” The book emphasized that after seven days, I would become much stronger, feeling great. The book said that in about 13 days, I would begin to have visions and maybe an angel would visit me.

After the seventh day, when Sherry would come over for about 15 minutes, she asked me if was I feeling stronger, like the book said? I was so weak that my knees were shaking. I told her to take the book and throw it in the garbage! The preacher wrote the book to make some money. He sure didn’t know anything about real fasting and praying. Well, what happened when the 13th day came around? Find out tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m.

So far, during the days I was in the rat shack fasting and praying, the Lord seemed very far away. I could not feel his presence. I felt like I was praying against a block wall. I felt like the Lord had left me! God felt like He was 1,000,000 miles away! We cannot walk by our feelings, even if you don’t feel his presence. We cannot walk by circumstances or emotions. The scripture for today is: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

On Wednesday morning, I will share with you what happened at the end of my fast and what supernatural things occurred! The Lord is a rewarder of those who seek him! I will be sharing with you the Word that the Lord gave me. Be blessed today!
