“Keep Your Eyes on the Prize.”

Has God ever promised you something that has not come to pass? The important thing is that we never have “broken focus.” We will often be distracted by things behind us and on the left and the right. When you are driving a car, you cannot afford to be tired, distracted or always looking behind.

In Joshua 1:7, God is laying a great burden on the shoulders of the young man, Joshua. Joshua has “big shoes to fill…” the shoes of Moses! God tells Joshua, “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.”

Today, those promises God has given you, are real. Do not look back. Do not get distracted and do not lose focus. Keep your eyes “on the prize!” You are almost at the finish line!!! Sherry
