“Impossible to Lie.”

Have you ever been around someone who lies constantly? Maybe he or she could even be your friend, but you know that when they open their mouth, they are lying. You cannot trust anyone who lies… In fact, when people lie to you, it makes you feel that you cannot trust “anyone.” I have known two people in my life that could never tell the truth... if they said they were going east, they went west. I know now, that it was “a lying spirit” in them. When someone lies to you, especially someone you love, it hurts so deeply. It’s as if someone drove a dagger through your heart. We serve a God, who “cannot lie.” He has never lied to us, and never will. Every promise He has made, will come to pass, because we “serve a God who cannot lie.”

Numbers 23:19-20 says, “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken and shall He not make it good?” Every promise He has given to you, shall come to pass, “thus saith the Lord.” We serve a God, who keeps His promise, because “It is impossible for Him to Lie!” That’s why we love Him so… rest assured, “it will come to pass.”
