“Our Deadliest Enemy.”

You may think it is “the devil,” and yes, Satan IS our enemy. But, we also have an enemy living within us. It is our “tongue!”

We know of a missionary who has been living and working in Haiti for many, many years. But, they have such a “sharp tongue,” that offends so many people. The Bible says, “Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his (or her), soul from troubles.” Proverbs 21:23.

Then Apostle James said it like this… “Behold also the ships, which though they be great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.” James 3:4

We are all guilty, but we can try each day, to keep an eye on “the helm of the ship!”
