GIVING ALMS TO THE POOR:

There are three types of giving.

1)  tithing

2) offerings

3) alms

“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band. A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always… And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10: 1-2 & 4

Alms is giving to the poor, food, clothing, finances, or showing charity. Helping those in need. Cornelius, giving of alms, his name came up as a memorial before the Lord and his name is in the Bible today.

When we bless the poor the Lord will bless us! Psalm 41: 1-3
