God Likes to Work when “Your Back’s Against the Wall.”

Ever notice in the Bible when a war was going on between Israel and the enemy, that Israel never outnumbered the enemy? However, there were many times when this novice army faced 900-plus chariots, the finest weapons, and experienced fighters “as the sand of the sea.” Yet, if Israel humbled them and turned to God, “He” would fight the battle for them! In Judges 6, the Midianites up and come against Israel. “They came with their cattle and tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for them and their camels were without number.” How would you feel facing this? Yet, God destroyed that army with Gideon and 300 men! “You are always on the winning side with God!” “God likes to work when your back is against the wall!” That’s probably “you” today!
