Making your foundation sure:

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Our foundation in our life is everything. Jesus Christ is our foundation. When the fire, wind, storms, the trials of this life come our way, we shall stand, because our foundation is Jesus Christ.

I remember back in 2010, when the earthquake struck Haiti killing 300,000 people… I was upstairs in our Love A Child Children’s Home. Our 21,500 sq. ft. Children’s Home shook like it was paper. Sherry was over in a nearby village. The earthquake passed and our Children’s Home was still standing! We never had one crack in our walls!! We had a firm foundation… Jesus is our foundation!
