Does watching the news make you feel frustrated?  

I have to be careful because if I watch too much news, I find myself getting frustrated, even stressed. Seems like every major news network wants to give their opinion… make the news on how they see the world. I really can’t find a news network that just gives the news, what really is happening. Not put a spin or a slant on the news. If you ever want to be discouraged, watch the news… it’s unbelievable how the world is going.

I notice so many people are mad, full of hate, tense, contentious, not trusting anyone. Don’t feed your soul by watching the news all day. Feed your soul by reading the Word of God. The word gospel means good news!!! Jesus brings us good news! So now I just watch enough news to know current events in the world, in order to know how to pray. In the middle of all of this, God’s people have His peace which passeth all understanding.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds tomorrow!
