“Riches…” I have been thinking a lot about “riches” lately. Sometimes, people condemn Christians who are rich, but I do not believe we should do this. Abraham was rich, Isaac was rich, Jacob was rich, Joseph was rich, and Job was rich. These are just a few. When we give to the poor, God wants to bless us. “He hath dispersed (given), he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth forever…” Psalm 112:9 — Yet, when riches “possess us,” instead of us possessing the power of giving, it turns into this… “There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing…” Proverbs 13:7 — I believe God wants us to be blessed, so that we can be a blessing to others.
