“Four Days Late…”
In the 11th chapter of John, we read the story of Lazarus who was very sick and near death. His sisters, Mary and Martha, sent word to Jesus to come quickly. But when Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was for two days! By the time he reached Lazarus, he was “four days late,” and Lazarus was dead and buried! Mary and Martha were upset and Martha said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” You know the story…Jesus spoke “life” into Lazarus and he came up out of the grave, bound from head to foot. Jesus said, “Loose him, and let him go!” What a miracle! Sometimes, we think Jesus is late with our prayers… But, even if He is “four days late,” He’s always “on time for a miracle!” Blessings to you! Sherry
