This promise is “sealed.” The Lord knows “who belongs to Him.” When we first moved to Haiti, I was amazed at the animals running around loose…pigs, goats, chickens and cows. I asked someone, “Wow, there are lots of animals here, why don’t the Haitians catch them and eat them?” The man replied, “Every Haitian knows what is his…if there are 50 chickens out there, and he has two, he knows which two are his.” I thought about the scripture, “my sheep know my voice.” God knows whose are His, and we know to whom we belong because we know His voice.
