It’s Not the “Fall” That Counts…
Ever had a bad fall? We have a village that we work in here in Haiti called “Savaan Roche.” It is full of rocks! It is shaped like a “tea-cup.” You have to climb up to the rim of a mountain, and look deep below…that is Savaan Roche. The trip “down” is so hard because it has millions of small rocks on very slippery, loose ground. It is nothing for team members to fall many times. One pastor’s wife actually sat down on her butt, and scooted all the way down! We all “fall” sometime in our lives, but God is always there. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24 – “It’s not the fall that counts, but whether we get back up.” Have a great day! Sherry
