“And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine (Goliath).” 1 Samuel 17:48 – Here was a small youth running with a mere slingshot and five stones to meet Goliath – the fiercest giant in the land. The Bible says, “David hasted and ran to meet the giant.” What kind of giant are you facing today? Are you running away from your problem or are you running towards it? God is on your side and you are a “giant killer!” Do not be afraid! Run towards your giant and draw your sword! Greater is He that is with you, than he that is against you.
