Yesterday, Bobby told you about “going fishing!” This was not “fishing for fish,” but fishing for men… But some people just don’t know “how to fish or cut bait!” They think that they can “catch a fish,” (win someone to Jesus) by using any old kind of bait! We have seen people that “scare the fish away” before they can drop the line! They start “preaching to them,” or annoying them and “scare the fish away.” As Bobby says, “all fish don’t bite alike!” You have to use “different kinds of bait” on them! But one thing is true when fishing for “men,” the “love of God” is the greatest “bait!” Romans 2:4 says that the “goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance.” It is the goodness of God and God’s love that wins them to salvation.
