“If you need something done, she’s the one for it!” Yolanda will soon be finished with her schooling here in Haiti. She is not sure yet what she wants to do, but whenever she sets out to do something, “she does it right!” She came to us from the mountains of Haiti. She is one of the most intelligent children here in our orphanage. She works hard and doesn’t make mistakes! She often volunteers for “tough jobs!” She always has a smile on her face, and there’s practically “nothing” she can’t do! She’s a typical girl… interested in “make-up, painting her nails, and doing her hair!” But when it comes to doing a job right, I often call on her! She always answers with a smile and with a “Yes, Mom!” Everyone loves her!
