His mother abandoned him in the weeds by our front gate at Love A Child when he was just a baby! It’s amazing that our Security Guards did not see his mother, carefully hiding him in the weeds near the gate. But later, when he was hungry, he began to cry. We were shocked to think that a mother, even a poor mother, would abandon her baby in the dark of the night, but she did. She must have waited until he was asleep, because our Security Guards did not know he was there until early in the morning, when he began to cry.

After discovering “Baby Joshua,” we sent him to our Jesus Healing Center Clinic for check-ups. He was under their care for two weeks. We took him in, and as soon as he could walk and talk, he “never shut up!” Ha! He was always helping, always into something, and was never boring! He was born with “mischief” in his eyes! Ha!

Joshua doesn’t know yet what he wants to be, but once he makes up his mind, that’s it! He is intelligent, hard-working, and always wants to play! And boy, when he puts his mind to something, it’s done!!! Everyone loves Joshua!
