Zoey… Just imagine driving down a dirt road in Haiti and you see something “wrapped up,” in a sheet or blanket. You may think it’s a doll, left behind by a child, but as you come closer you can hear the cry of a baby, abandoned! Suppose that we thought it was just trash on the dirt road and we might have been tempted to run over it! But, God stopped us! It was a “thrown-away,” discarded baby!

We did NOT want to add another child to the orphanages. We tried to send her to Social Services! They would not take her because they were full!!! So, Zoey was at the “last whistle stop,” Love A Child, for abandoned kids. Zoey is now eight and in school. She is “very intelligent,” and acts a lot older than 8! She still loves dolls and wants to be a nurse! Well, we could use another nurse. I think we’ll wait till she catches up! Thank you, partners!
