We are so proud to have our daughter, Julie Halecki, join us here in Haiti as a full-time missionary this year.

 

Julie has joined us over the years as a volunteer from time to time.

 

This past year she visited us several times to help with food distributions in poor villages. Here she is passing out food and gifts to the Haitians in the community of Sapaterre during the holidays.

 

Julie has a great connection with the children at our Love A Child Hope Center Orphanage, here she is with one of our sweeties Rodna.

 

She has sacrificed and left a lot behind. It is her great compassion for the children that brings her to Haiti full-time. The Haitians love her too!

 

But it was when we recently visited the village of Cotin, and the dump site of Truttier that Julie was truly touched by what she saw.

 

Recently, Julie and I, along with Kaeli, Philemon, Oriol and Rachael, took food and clothes to some very poor children who live inside a filthy dump site of Truttier. We just can’t get these children out of our thoughts. The conditions they live in are unbelievable. It is so sad…

 

Julie was a Clinical Field Specialist for Edwards Lifesciences. She felt the calling of God, and gave up a job that she loved to make this commitment.

 

Julie will be working very hard in every area of our ministry. She has already taken a great load off our shoulders. We pray that God will supply her with the financial support and that He will give her the wisdom to work here in Haiti.
