Guess what? Another baby! One lady, Madamn Esteline, from a village “higher than Gobert,” or Peyi Pouri, made it all the way down to the town next to us. She slept there and came to our Jesus Healing Center yesterday… she began to have her baby in the yard! We took her into the Malnutrition Clinic, and the saj fam (midwives), delivered the baby girl! That’s why we are building a Birthing Center that also is a Women’s Health Center! The Women’s Health Center will teach them how to care for the children when there is little food to eat, how to know if their child is sick and needs a doctor, family planning, and many other things. This Birthing Center is for the poor!
