Madamn Michlove is a good mother, but she is a poor mother… Her husband left her months ago. Her first child died in the area where she lived, due to the lack of simple hospital care, and now, she has another child.
When she realized that her son, 10-month old Bayden, was getting sick and was getting worse every day, she did not know what to do. You see, she lives in a small village on the lake between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Someone told her about our Love A Child Jesus Healing Center, so she took baby Bayden in a small boat to get to the other side. Then, she had to pay a moto, and she arrived at our clinic two hours later.
Lake Water for the Baby…
The village she comes from is poor… there are no gardens and no fresh water. Everything is dry and dusty. They live in a house made of mud and clay, with seven people living in it! There is no water to flush a toilet and no water source. This has been a problem because there is no money to get a moto each day and then pay for the water. So, “she has been getting lake water for drinking water and cooking water for little Bayden!” This made Bayden sick and affected his health, so the Doctor sent her and Bayden over to our Malnutrition Clinic.
Hand in Hand…
Our Jesus Healing Center works “hand in hand” with our Malnutrition Clinic because every child must have a doctor’s consultation and advice to send the baby to the Malnutrition Clinic. As soon as he arrived, he was welcomed by several nurses and our staff. They went right to work giving him his exam, his medication, and special, expensive milk formula, which he will be on for a while.
The “baby in the boat” is doing very well! We want to thank Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope, who built the Malnutrition Center, and we thank her for her help sponsoring the Jesus Healing Center monthly. We also wish to thank MAP International for their donations of wonderful medicines that we use in our Jesus Healing Center and also in our Malnutrition Clinic.
These wonderful outreaches are “showing God’s love,” which leads to repentance! Our arms are always open to those who come by foot, by moto, by donkey, and even by boat!
